Cookie Policy
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your browser or device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognize your browser across multiple visits and remember information about your session. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and tracking pixels, which work in comparable ways.
2. How We Use Cookies
TURN uses cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
Essential cookies: These are required for the website and platform to function properly. They enable core functionality such as page navigation, session management, and security features. These cannot be disabled.
Analytics cookies: We use Vercel Analytics and potentially other standard analytics tools to understand how visitors interact with our website โ including which pages are visited, how long users stay, and where they come from. This data is aggregated and used only to improve TURN. We do not tie analytics data to individual identities for marketing purposes.
Preference cookies: These may store lightweight preferences (such as form state or UI settings) to improve your experience across visits. These are functional, not tracking-oriented.
3. Cookies We Use
| Cookie / Technology | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Essential | Maintains your login session while using the platform | Session (expires on close) |
| Vercel Analytics | Analytics | Aggregated page view and traffic data; no personal profiling | Up to 1 year |
| Form state storage | Functional | Temporarily preserves demo request form inputs to prevent data loss | Session |
We do not use advertising, retargeting, or third-party tracking cookies. We do not place cookies that track your activity across other websites.
4. Third-Party Services
Some cookies may be set by third-party services we use to operate TURN (such as our hosting provider, Vercel). These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies, and their use of data is governed by those policies rather than ours. We select third-party services carefully and only use those with reasonable data practices.
5. Managing Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies. Here are links to cookie management instructions for common browsers:
Please note that blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the TURN platform from functioning correctly.
6. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no industry-wide standard for how to respond to DNT signals, TURN does not currently alter its behavior based on a DNT signal. We do not engage in cross-site tracking, and we will update this policy if our practices change.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of technologies changes. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect any updates. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
